| Diana M. Berthold is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York City, where she studied Fashion Design. Her professional credits include design for graphics, screen prints, allover prints, embroideries, swimwear, sportswear, dresses, costumes, accessories, and equestrian for major retail, catalogues, and mail order companies. Her award winning artwork, photography, and quilts are exhibited at juried shows, galleries, and libraries. A collection of note cards, T-shirts, and logos, were designed by Ms. Berthold for the Patchogue-Medford Library's Centennial Celebration which is displayed at APPLEBEES in Patchogue. Pen and ink drawings, photographs, quilts, and stories have been published in THE LONG ISLAND ADVANCE, HORSE DIRECTORY, and SUFFOLK LIFE. Ms. Berthold is the founder of UNIQUE PROGRAMS FOR EVERYONE TO ENJOY, a selection of crafts that she designed and instructs at Long Island libraries from the north shore to the south shore and from Elmont to East Hampton. Since 1996, she has shared her creative expertise with children, young adults, and adults in daytime and night time classes. She can also arrange to tailor programs to the special needs. Due to the appeal to a variety of patrons, her success and reliability, programs are booked well in advance. Diana is fully insured. Diana is also known for WHERE ARE YOUR HORSE SHOW RIBBONS? which includes a variety of custom quilts and pillows created from ribbons awarded at horse, dog, quilt, or art shows. These commissioned pieces can also include photographs and embroideries. Each piece is designed according to your needs using the knowledge gained from her education at FIT and experience in the field of fashion design, art, and quilt making.
